RICHA + ALI

Memories are the most magical things. The first time I met Ali, I knew this wedding would be special. His Lucknow reception was an ode to his mom and a physical manifestation of this love for the city of Lucknow.

Hundreds of metres of fabrics were draped in the front lawns of the Lebua Siraca Estate in Lucknow- a beautiful old restored haveli. Inspired by the colours of Awadh- hand embroidered chikankari, tuberoses, cut glass became the main design details.

The courtyard was transformed into an old school mehfil with gaddas, gota embroidered linen, shamaadaans and fragrant strings of tuberoses.
